Year in and year out The Pacific Coast of Guatemala continues to have the highest concentrations of Pacific sailfish found anywhere on the planet, earning it the name “Sail fishing Capital of the World”. Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi and Tuna are found in abundance off the coast of this tranquil Central American country. Don’t be surprised to see the occasional Black Marlin. Inshore Roosterfish may also be targeted . Boats typically average over a dozen sailfish releases per day. Our fishery currently holds the conventional and fly-fishing record for the most sailfish released in one day. The cost per fish sited and or released continues to average lower than any other bill fishing hotspot for Pacific and Atlantic Sailfish. We are easily reached through Guatemala ’s international airport (GUA) It’s a 2 ½ flight from Miami or Dallas and only a 4 ½ flight from the Washington DC area. Give us a call or drop us an email and let us help you create a plan for your perfect fishing adventure. You’ll be surprised at how economical an all inclusive adventure can be. A typical package includes 3 days of fishing, ground transportation to and from the airport, lodging and meals.  If members of your group or family don’t fish realize there is much more to see and do around our port city of Iztapa.  Call us at 305-735-2387 or email info@buenavistasportfishing.com for more information now!
