Pacific Coast of Guatemala - February 3rd, 2010

Kevin Owens and Jonh Teanor, went 32 miles away on the Furioso, run by Capt. Fito and Mate Danilo, they had an excellent number of sail fish. Making a score of 35 sailfish  raised, 32 bites and 24 sailfish  Released.
By the other hand we had Glenn Orr, Jeff Cox, Tony Batista and Larry Lee on the Monkey Business with Capt. Jimmi and mate Gesler. They went for 27 miles and had 17 Sailfish Releases for 35 Raised.
Bringing back to the lodge 02 Dorados for Dinner.
In the morning water was good but turned a little rough later, but still good to fish.

Captain Marcial & his boat Perla del Mare, went fishing 30 miles, the water and weather condition were excellent.

They got  one 25 pounds dorado, and released 20 sails for 31 rised.

We have open dates on March if you want to join the best fishing experience !!!

Today it was a better day for Pino & his friends; they run on The Furioso for 32 miles and  released 18 from 22 bites.

When they got at our water front Rancho D´yane    was waiting for them with  a Blue Marlin, one of our wellcome drinks ...

Joe, Jonh, Todd and Bill went fishing on the DonMark, with Captain Rossman , mates Juanito & Gesler went for 31 miles and raised 32 getting 26 bites and 15 releases.

 Bill Pino, Gleen, Nick, and Al had a kind of slow day on the Furioso with 09 sails releases.

Fishing at Buena Vista Sport Fishing continues to be hot; on the 19th Allan Wright of Albuquerque NM raised 23 sailfish had 19 bites and caught 16.
He went again on the 21st and added 28 raised 24 bites and caught 12 sails plus 2 Dorado for dinner.
 Alan has now caught 100 sailfish. He has fished 13 times in Panama, Costa Rica and Africa. More than 2/3rts have been caught here at Buena Vista Sport Fishing   in only two trips.
This says a lot for Buena Vista Sport Fishing and Guatemala

After several weeks of fantastic fishing, the 17th and 18th of Jan was slow with only 5 sailfish and 18 raises. We bouned back some what today the 19th. The Furioso with  Captain Marcial was second in the fleet with 12 raises and 8 sailfish caught. We also caught a 30 lb.Yellowfin and a 30 lb. Dorado.
