Lodge

Our waterfront lodge is located beside a fishing village on the island of Buena Vista near the port town of Iztapa just 70 miles south of the capital, Guatemala City . It is the only operational waterfront lodge in Guatemala. It consists of the lodge house(Casa Amarilla) the Hotelito, Swimming Pool, 25 seat Bar and enormous waterfront rancho. No other lodge even comes close to our size or location. (picture below says it all)       
 
Casa Amarilla is the ideal facility for groups of anglers. We are fully staffed with a chef, housekeeper, and private security. Upon your return from a day of fishing, appetizers and cold drinks will be served before dinner as you relax in our private pool. The breeze coming off the  ocean creates a comfortable ambiance for you as you dine on locally caught seafood and other native cuisine. Our caring staff of dedicated professionals will make your Guatemalan fishing adventure a wonderful experience. Casa Amarilla can be seen to left and behind rancho below.

     The Hotelito is six of the finest rooms anywhere.(Can be seen to the right and behind rancho below) They are  furnished with solid cedar furniture and doors and are enormous. Sleep number here means what number you set your state of the art AC.  The fully stocked bar by pool cannot be seen in this photo as it is directly behind rancho. The lodge is run by Virginia Beach native Jody Elswick and his Wife Susy. It is the only lodge in Guatemala with fluent spanish speaking owner on site at all times. Jody and Susy provide a level of service and attention to personal detail that other lodges do not even know exists.   We are also the only lodge  with our boats docked behind lodge.
