Our waterfront lodge is located beside a fishing village on the island of Buena Vista near the port town of Iztapa just 60 miles south of the capital, Guatemala City.  Our boats are located right on the water just steps from your individual private room.  The Lodge consists of  air-conditioned rooms furnished with queen beds, although there's enough room to add an additional twin bed if necessary.  Enjoy the refreshing pool, outdoor bar featuring satellite TV with the NFL Package and an enormous waterfront restaurant serving fresh seafood and prime USDA steaks. Our bar offers the best in tropical drinks such as margaritas and mojitos as well as an extensive selection of domestic and imported liquors. 
 
Buena Vista Sportfishing Lodge is the ideal facility for groups of anglers. We are fully staffed with English and Spanish-speaking personnel.  Our American Manager Robert Fallon is an experienced Guatemalan fishing guide and eleven-year resident of Guatemala.  Upon your return from a day of fishing, appetizers and cold drinks will be served before dinner.  The breeze coming off the ocean creates a comfortable ambiance as you relax in our private pool or in our hammocks.  Our caring staff of dedicated professionals will make your Guatemalan sportfishing adventure a wonderful experience.  As many accolades as we receive on our fishing, we receive an equal number on our food and service. With our 24-hour security personnel you will always feel comfortable in our secluded
