Captain Franz
Captain Franz is of German descent but has lived his whole life in Guatemala. He and his father have been fishing these waters since he was just a minnow. In the German way, Captain Franz is meticulous in keeping records of tides, currents, winds and water temperature. He is an absolute pleasure to fish with and can really crank up the release numbers. His knowledge of Guatemala’s coastal waters makes him excellent at picking up a mess of snappers for dinner on the way home.
His boat the Pulga was custom designed by him and is always in perfect order. He is fluent in English, German and Spanish.

The Pulga was custom built in 2006 with a 30 foot center console and twin 175 two-stroke Suzuki’s. She has a tower, a 55 gallon live will, large fishing boxes and is fully rigged for inshore fishing as well sailfishing.
